Key stage 1 Science investigation

As part of our construction topic, the pupils were given the task of making a waterproof roof for their house. 

First they had to carefully choose what material to use to make their structure.

After that they had to try to identify what fabric would be absorbent and ensure no water dripped onto the floor of their house. 

We had five winners in the class who successfully made their own waterproof structure!
